Sometimes the paint just flows exactly as it should! After many false starts on this canvas, I painted over in deep blues, greens and turquoises.
The sea turtle swam in to view and I felt that nothing else would work on the canvas created. I really enjoyed painting this.
Below you will see the stages it went through, once I started adding to the finished background, below the sea. The original artwork sold on the first day of its debut exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. Prints and cards are still available.
