The season is well and truly upon us, whether we celebrate or not. The first snow has fallen, and the lights are going up around town, and in people’s homes.
I have spent much time this month creating new art in greens, a subtle change from my summer of blue paint. However, one exception has been City Break, a subtle abstract with a background of muted browns and orange, layered with copper highlights. Then bold strokes of blue create the foreground, bringing the copper tones to the front of the canvas board. This is ready to go for my next art exhibition.
My last exhibition of 2024 is at Denbies Wine Estate with First for Art. From Monday, December 16th, to Sunday, December 22nd, the gallery will be filled with artistic creations—a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of December.
