It seems 2024 is ready to race away and we are already into Spring, with Mother’s Day and Easter just around the corner. Mother’s Day is on the 10th March 2024, and Easter will see the month out. Good Friday is on the 29th March 2024.
My next exhibition will start on Monday 18th March at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey. This means that the next few weeks will be full of planning, painting, and organising a collection of art for the week. The smaller 10 x 12-inch canvases are framed and ready to join a selection of larger canvases, and I have one canvas that has been waiting to be completed for quite a while now. The decision is whether to stick to one larger painting or create several smaller, and more affordable products to take with me.
When it comes to painting, I don’t really have much choice… it depends on what mood my day has taken and what colours jump out at me before I begin. However, it is nice to be having a break from the pot of black paint at the moment and giving some colour to the canvases.
