In the last few months I had a forced break from work, and underwent a bunion operation. This involved breaking two bones and realigning my big toe, complete with a large portion of the ‘knuckle’ being shaved. I have to say it has been one of the most painful operations I have ever had, and 7 weeks post op, I am now on the road to recovery, and able to think about painting.
As usual, I have started some very mixed pieces, with bright abstract colours. With my next exhibition being in December, it is time to create a new collection to support the works already available.
Finally, the large canvas for Ethereal Forest was returned and restretched on a smaller frame. Still a large canvas and both new works measure 36 x 48 inches each. My foot has new metalwork, and I have new art.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
