A seascape, landscape, water rising up to meet the thunderous sky, heavy clouds, darkness, rain… Nature painting a storm.
This mixed media artwork includes moulding medium, acrylic paints and inks, and varnishes. I really enjoyed the abstractness of creating without an image in mind but finding a storm being painted and emerging from the textured canvas. There are multiple layers to this artwork, and varnish between, to give even more depth to the finished item. This item would benefit from a good lighting system to enhance the colours in the dark depth.
