A small canvas framed with resin and acrylic. A golden koi on the water.
The koi became a series in my acrylic pours as the finished base resembled the bottom of a pond. I layered the resin, adding the fish to the bottom section before pouring more resin on to create depth. It is a great way to experiment with abstract pours and finer art details, to create a series of smaller artworks in fixed frames.
