Space Mountain sits in the shadows of the great pyramids, on a distant planet much hotter than Earth. The dry landscape emits a golden shimmer in the high heat of the day.To create this art, I covered an artboard in brown/gold acrylic and used metallic spray paint to form shapes on the landscape. The mountains in the foreground were added with a palette knife to give the textured effects. A giant ghost of a pyramid adds to the dystopian look of Space Mountain.
